Our
Fundraisers
We have many fundraisers to support our civic projects
and garden club activities.
1) A 2011 calendar featuring expert gardening tips and photos galore from the
cameras of our talented members. See our Calendar Fundraiser page for information about purchasing this calendar.
2) Note Cards featuring
seasonal photos taken from our calender pages.
3) Bedford Day—Each year the community of Bedford hosts an
event on the third or fourth Saturday of September. This year it will be held on the third Saturday, September 17, 2011.
Clubs, churches, and other organizations participate and sell items from booths set up near the town hall. We will sell mums,
lovely flower arrangements, calendars and notecards.
4) Geranium, Perennial
and Floral Arrangement Sale––held the day before Mother's Day (May 12, 2012) in front of the Department of Public
Works.
Past Fundraisers
We held a yard sale on October 17, 2009, at 258 Old Billerica Road in Bedford.
Bedford Botanical Brigade—This formidable and intrepid group of women used to be for hire in May and June
and again in October and November for gardening tasks but as of Fall 2006 we no longer offer this service.
Cookbooks—We
sold out of this great book.
Gardening Tips Booklet—We sold out of this booklet.
Garden Tour––
On June 21 and 22, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., we offered a tour of eleven private gardens in Bedford.
